The purpose of this fundraising event is to raise funding for operations and food for our local Pantry. This event will be a Roaring Twenties themed night in DeLand! All monies raised for this event will go directly to Backpack Buddies towards feeding kids and families in Volusia, as well as operational costs. Come have some Fun while raising money for a local cause!
Since inception of Backpack Buddies in September of 2019, we have been rewardingly busy! In 2019, approximately 21 children a week were receiving Kids Pack Meals for the weekends through our program. Currently, we are serving 307 kids weekly in 4 West Volusia Schools.
