Hunger doesn’t take a break on weekends
Our mission is to eliminate food insecurity for children and families in West Volusia. First, to provide meals to school-aged children in need their and provide the blessing of nutrition and comfort so that they can focus on their academics. Secondly, to provide for families, keeping families whole.
Join us for the 3rd Annual Gala!
This event will have a Masquerade party theme in DeLand, August 10 from 6pm to 11pm. All monies raised will go directly to the Backpack Buddies Organization for operations and food for our local Pantry. We will offer passed Hors d’oeuvres, Cash Bar, Silent and Live Auctions and Live Entertainment! Come have some Fun while raising money for a local cause.

We give out 20,000 pounds of food on average per drop. Food drops are generally held once every 1-2 months in various cities throughout Volusia County. Volunteers are needed!
